Most consultants push whichever university pays them the largest kickback. We keep a written record of which universities pay us, which don't, and whether that ever influenced an offer. It hasn't. If it does, you'll see it in the ledger first.

The reality
FMGE pass rate for foreign medical graduates was 19.4% in 2023. Roughly 4 out of 5 foreign MBBS graduates do not clear the licensing exam on their first attempt.

The claim
"Our students routinely get 100% scholarships to UK universities."
The reality
Full-tuition scholarships for Indian undergraduates at UK Russell Group universities are in the low single digits per year, nationally. No consultant has a pipeline to them. The word "scholarship" in most ads refers to £500–£2,000 tuition discounts.

The claim
"100% placement guaranteed after graduation."
The reality
No university or consultant can legally guarantee placement. "Placement" in most brochures means university-hosted career fairs, not confirmed job offers. The actual graduate employment rate (12 months post-graduation) varies from 38% to 78% depending on country and program.

The claim
"Free laptop / iPhone / flight ticket on enrolment."
The reality
That money comes from the university's commission to the consultant, which is folded into your tuition. A "free laptop" typically costs your family ₹60,000–₹1,20,000 in inflated fees across the course. We don't take commissions on freebie-linked offers.

The claim
"Total Year 1 cost: ₹12 lakh, all-in."
The reality
Advertised "all-in" figures usually exclude visa, insurance, first-month deposit, medical tests, translation fees, and return flights if something goes wrong. The real Year 1 cost is 1.4–2.1× the advertised number across the 12 countries we track.

The claim
"Guaranteed PR pathway after your course."
The reality
No country offers a guaranteed PR pathway tied to a single consultant. Canada, Australia, and Ireland each have points-based systems that change annually. A consultant claiming PR guarantees is selling certainty they cannot deliver.
